Bonfire night event: The Walled Up Woman
The Walled-Up Woman, 5 November
Join The People’s Museum Somers Town on Bonfire Night for Georgina Lock's one-woman show The Walled Up Woman in the atmospheric St Pancras Old Church. Georgina Locke will perform in character of a medieval anchoress, a woman who chose to be walled up on the north side of a church until death released them.
A procession to the museum with sparklers for refreshments (on donation) at the museum will follow the performance.

New art trail about Somers Town history
The People’s Museum Somers Town is bringing to life in 3D form the ‘lost art’ of St Pancras Housing.
Using a virtual technology they will bring to life the missing ceramic ‘finial’ artworks that are presumed stolen – up to 160 taken from the housing drying posts to add a vital visualisation to our upcoming Heritage Trail – Untold Stories tells the story of this art.

Plans will be shown on 9 November Living Centre on Ossulston Street at 6pm or you can view them at the museum.
