Summer Event 2023

On Friday 4 August, over 80 residents came to enjoy the fun at the summer event, held by the Resident and Community Engagement Team at Basil Jellicoe Community Hall.

There was food, face painting, balloon modelling, arts and crafts and a bouncy castle, as well as an opportunity to talk to staff from different teams, including Neighbourhood, Income, Repairs and Care and Support.

We had 16 issues reported and logged by our maintenance team and Custopmer Reslationship Officers, which staff will be following up on and ensuring the outcomes are fed back to the reporting residents. We were also lucky to have one of our Spotlight Panel members, Christian, attend to support the Resident and Community Engagement stall. He had a very enjoyable day and commented on how well organised it was.

All residents got a goody bag when they arrived and were given the opportunity to take part in a consultation about our service standards.  The feedback we received was that it was an enjoyable event and they are looking forward to the next one.
