Fitch credit rating reaffirmed as A- with a stable outlook

This week our credit rating agency, Fitch, in their annual review of Origin, made the decision to revise Origin’s credit rating up one notch, from BBB+ to  A- (stable).

Fitch statement

“The rating action reflects the stabilisation in Origin's financial profile, arresting a deterioration trend over the past five years. This follows its merger, completed in April 2024, with a more financially resilient registered provider (RP), Places for People Group Limited (PfPG; A-/Stable).
